After years of abstinence from HiFi music due to girl friend ---> immigration ---> wife ---> family, I finally bought a headphone (ATH-M50) and small amp (Icon mobile), and now I'm hooked again. I would like to upgrade, but since this can be very costly I would like to test hear various headphones and amps. I am a quality snob and believe that some day I will end up with something like HD800 if it proofs to be really superior.
 
Anyway, does anyone know of retail stores or shows in my area where I can check out a couple of gadgets?
