Cool. I'd be happy to pass along the demo unit after my time with them.

I may have missed this from one of the previous threads, but is there any word on when/where they're going to available for purchase in the US?

Just wanted to update again, I wont be getting enough for everyone, so LFF and game will get the first two, if one of you guys are willing to pass it onto jleewach please do so after your review.  jleeach i apologize and had to give priority to the first two who asked.

I'd like to throw my hat into the mix even though I haven't been here long, nor have I (yet) posted a review. I've been using Yuin PK2s for a while now and have always generally preferred earbuds on-the-go as opposed to IEMs since I don't care much for the invasive feeling the latter imparts on me.

I have posted some movie reviews on the net if you'd like to sample a bit of my writing style. Here's one:

I have others on that same site.

Yeah, too bad I missed this too. If the demo units are still being passed around:
I have Yuin Ok1 and Pk3 to compare them to if you want! Then I have some many cheap earbuds I've collected over the years and my friends own.

No impression thread, I was hoping everyone would make their own when they are done. LFF and George still need to post their reviews soon.

Anyone who wants the first demo set that was reviewed by thegame should contact him and ask him if he if he would ship them out to you, or if he prefers to ship them back to me, and then i will redistribute them.  I contacted him on the 8th and he hasnt replied back yet.  I need him to post his review here on head fi as well.

I got to say these are very unique sounding ear-buds.

Mostly they have really nice bass, but not the impact as IEMs. However it is very good for earbuds. It does not emphasize the boomy bass; so you get to hear the very low bass really clearly; which I like. Good control and lets you hear the watery bass noises. Voices are forward; whilst male voices sound better. They have a very natural decay to them; for drums and other instruments (but not as much as my Ok1; but not too noticable). They are also quick enough that they do not wash out sounds in complicated modern music tracks.
Highs got a kind of impact to them that make them fun; even though it is not as forward as the voices.

Build quality, I like the gummy cord; though it could be a little thicker. I have no problem with the earbud casing themselves. The earbud foam cover is really comfortable. The earbuds are easy to fit too. Though since they are designed stick out a little you probably can't lay on your head's side with them; without abusing the earbuds.
