Whenever I get caught, I just throw out a head flick (as if I know the dude) and make him wonder where he knows me from.  If it happens to be model I particularly approve of, I offer a fist pump for props.

when ur headphone cable is longer than 10ft
I was running a 25' setup years before I cared about sound quality at all. I just needed to drown out the other people around and the receiver was on the other side of the room. My cables have gotten thicker since beginning to care though.

when you shut the doors and windows, hide under the blanket, turn off the fan and AC on a hot summer day and sweat buckets just so the noise from them doesn't interfere with your music, but like open back headphone because of the soundstage
