for the last 3 months since i've owned the WA2, i have often
used its PREAMP function on my AUDIOENGINE2 speakers....
mainly because i have alot to do around my house and i can't
sit around and listen to my HEADPHONES for a long period of time...
about a week ago, i decided to BYPASS the WA2 and i plugged my
DAC directly into the AUDIOENGINE2s.....
well, i can't take it. it's too.... BRITTLE, BRIGHT, HARSH, FATIGUING,
and just not as GOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD as listening
through the WA2.
so, now i'm thinking i should get some ACTIVE/POWERED speakers
like DYNAUDIO or QUAD..... i would reall appreciate SUGGESTIONS
and OPINIONS...
