I worked at a Round Table for about 5 Years.

Great Pizza!
Quote:
Pizza Factory ( Usually in small towns but its good as hell)

Toppers Pizza (Southern California- I tried it in Oxnard)

And one where you can find anywhere--Round Table.

I love all these three because they don't throw a crap load of sauce on their pizzas like others do.

And just pepperoni for me.

I don't know how I forgot about it but the pizza at my girlfriend's parent's restaurant is award winning! Union Hotel in Occidental, CA. I usually get pasta, I suppose that's why I forgot.

For a local shop in LA, I love Hank's in Playa del Rey. A true hole-in-the-wall with great prices and great food. If anyone is in the neighborhood, go give Hank's a try. You'll love it.

Down in the desert, I go to Rocky's in Yuma. Family place that's been there forever. They make everything from scratch every day and the prices are excellent.

Though my favorite is heading over to my cousin's place. He's a professional chef and put quite a bit into a wood-fired oven in his back yard. Even ordered the special fire bricks from France and put lots of time, effort and money into doing it right. Bread from that oven is wonderful, but the pizza is amazing. We make the dough and sauce from scratch and have a bunch of toppings. Amazing how fast they cook - 12" pizzas are done in a couple of minutes.

As for toppings, I'll eat anything.
