I just received v900s, and would like to replace pleather with velour. will the beyer pads fit on v900s like they do on v600s?

how exactly do i order the beyer pads...?

also, why does everyone talk about the v6s, but not any other model like the v9s?

Well, search relveals they won't fit on the 600s, and I doubt they'll fit on the 900s either. No one talks about v9s, since there doesn't seem to be such a thing.

Remember V6 != V600, getting those two confused can be a big mistake

I haven't heard the V900s yet, but it seems they are better than the others I have heard in that series, which were all nowhere near worth the amount charged for them. They might be worth holding on to, depending on if you like them relative to others that are out there or not.

The MDR-V600 is NOT the same as the MDR-V6!! The Beyer pads will NOT fit either the MDR-V900 or the MDR-V600 due to the irregular-shaped earpieces of those two Sonys.

And stay away from the MDR-V600 at all costs! It sounds much, much worse than it should for the price that you'd be paying for it.

The MDR-V9 never existed, as far as I know.

I know that the DT831 / DT931 pads fit the AD10. I would expect them to almost be the same as the A900.

You can always see a seamstress at your local cleaners and have her put on velour from KMart.

MDR-CD900ST = MDR-V900 equivilant model # afaik...

Either way, the MDR-V900 earcups are huge in comparison to the MDR-V6 / Beyer DT=250, and the Beyer pads fit snugly on the V6, so the easy answer to me would be no.
