I found a great song for test bass of your headphone. the first track from dark knight ost.
there's portion of  song only has low low bass playing. if your headphone is good enough, you can hear air blowing into your ear and hearing the bass as well. it's a crazy experience for me and my m50.

Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X16MKQXHDmc - among most popular song people obsessed with insane subwoofer car setups like to use  (makes me feel air moving towards my earchannel on XB500 despite what I actually hear isn't really that loud or big impact by any means)

Here's how it looks like on system that's more than capable of hitting those notes (and ofc for some laughs):

There is also some fairly low bass on the album "muddy water" by the artist "redman" It may not be on the CD, I only have it on the big black disc. I cant remember which tracks its on, sorry.

For modern pop songs, Robyn's Dancing On My Own and Kanye's Love Lockdown both have ear-pushing bass. Robyn's song should make your head feel like it's trapped in a spinning vice, and Love Lockdown's bass won't appear on a lot of small speakers/headphones.

I don't listen to rap genre at all but I think some of BoB's songs are actually quite listenable cuz it's different from the typical rap (more "sophisticated" if you can call it that :p). The above has similar soft deep bass as the Kayne's song and will seriously lack impact/quantity for speakers/drivers that don't handle deep bass.

I use this to burn in my cans, plus I really love it for testing.
