AD2K Re-Cable help

If anyone has any advice on re-cabling the AD2K,  I'd greatly appreciate it.  I'm talking single-ended,  unbalanced, whatever you want to call it.  : )

 

 

Basically, I'm trying to take my Zana to the next level .... and my buddy is a little nervous about taking these buggers apart.  So he asked me to post.

Generally look for screws underneath the earpads and then look for plastic clips holding the cover on.

Thanks cyberspider. Also heard the screw heads can break off.   They're probably treated w lock-tite, he recommended some softener.

 

On the flip side .... I may have found an installer.  Takes the fun away but hey ....  at least I might have an option.
