lookin for a usb dac for my laptop with a line out
 

ideally..want it to be portable..so i can carry it with me.
 
 
suggestions welcome

Fiio E7 is pretty well liked and seems like good value for the price. Also the uDAC from Nuforce. Probably a few others.

Well if you want a LO then the also popular udac is probably a better option.
