EAC to not simultenously rip and encode settings? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

Okay I'm sure this is something basic I'm missing, but how do I make sure EAC rips all tracks before starting encoding? I'm running it on a old P2 machine and want to run them separate for CPU reasons. I know I read about this awhile ago, but can't find the info, nor figure it out in the settings.

Go into the "Database" menu and select "Compression Queue Control Center", and in the dialog that pops up select the "Make all compression tasks sleep" check box.

Now rip your CD(s), and when you are done just deselect the check box.

Press F11 and choose an external compressor.
