Hmm.. first a Meelec armature and now this. I think there was a second dual-BA from Fischer and something of the sort from Soundmagic as well. Seems like more and more budget manufacturers are jumping into the deep end. Got to wonder who the OEM will be for these since ViSang doesn't work with armatures AFAIK.

It must be news if you don't know anything about it. If ClieOS doesn't know anything about it this would indeed be news

Hah, funny. I've heard rumours of an armature from mp4nation but didn't think it would be a dual-BA - can't think of the last time a manufacturer went from dynamics straight into multi-BA setups.

i've never heard a BA IEM before, but my tastes have changed pretty drastically lately. from what i read about BA's, this may be right up my alley. can't wait to hear a description on the sound of them.

I'm thinking they found a company that is already making 2ba phones and simply rebranding or changing the appearance a tiny bit

Dual BA sure seems to be pretty popular lately.

Maybe the flooding market would lead to a decrease in price.

IDK...brainwavz m2 for $60, m3 for $90, multi BA for...$150-175?

Yep, I also heard news that Raz is playing with the idea of BA based IEM (he posted something about it on a thread over at MP4Nation forum), though nothing specific. I know he went to ShenZheng (not far from HK) yesterday to demo new stuffs, so he probably picked up a few demo, since most of the Chinese companies / OEM we familiar have their factories over there.

Meelec's dual BA is priced at $75, budget dual BA is possible.

Meelec doesn't have a dual BA. The A151 is single-armature, and a pretty popular one at that.
