Final thoughts - If you prioritize heavy bass to be on top of your wants list, ATH-M50 will suit you well. I can see why they say this is a good option for electro/trance/tech music. If you like detailed hi and mid, with not overwhelming but tight bass, I think HFI-580 is a better option.

the most popular recessed headphone in history, its not slightly recessed its very recessed, the only thing that trick people is the bass and the forward sound (which people believe is a reflection of good sound quality...nope)
