I bought a pair of TF10s during the Amazon deal & a Cowon E2 yesterday.  The E2 has power output of 12mw + 12mw - 16ohms for headphones.  I really don't understand the relationship between impedance, ohms and power so I ask all of you who do, will the little player have any trouble driving the TF10s?

You need not worry.  The TF10's are not hard to drive anyway.  Most portables can handle the TF10's without any amp.  If I remember correctly, the TF10's impedance is 32 ohms?

Correction - 22 ohms.

So Amazon messed up my order and sent me the Cowon iAudio 9 instead.

The iAudio 9 happily pushes out 30mw + 30mw.

The TF10s are 32ohm.  I've had the iAudio 9 before and liked it better than my Cowon S9 DAP.  Anyone think a Fiio E5 will improve the sound any?  Add fullness & warmth?

I've owned the E5 and the TF10 - and don't think the TF10 benefits much if any from that amp.  The TF10's are plenty warm, and don't need the bass boost of the E5.  I primarily just use the E5 as a volume control on volume limited devices, or for travel.

If you're looking for synergy with an amp - search for something mid-centric to bring out the mids a little.  I got my Ibasso D4 AFTER I got rid of my original TF10's - so I can't commen on how well they pair.

i have the TF's and the fiio5 and IMO
they degrade the sound...make the
TF's sound really harsh.
I would not recommend pairing them
at all.
