Hai Guys and Gals,

I just wanted to start off by saying you guys have an awesome website and a knowledgeable community.

I love Music and can’t get enough of it, but I want to hear it like it was made to be heard and because of that I’m looking into buying some headphones. But there are some many of them with some many other variables and I fear spending some money on headphones that would otherwise not be worth it.

I currently have the Bose IE2 headphones and I love em but I wanna grab a pair of full sized headphones that I can listen to on the go as well as in my home. I’m mainly going to be using them on my ipod and if anything I’ll use them to replace my Logitech headsets.
I’m looking for something that’s in the $150 - $200 range.

I was originally looking at the beats by dre, but I was if to spend it without looking into different headphones. Sure enough I opened a can of worms.

The ones that currently have my attention are srh750dj and srh840.
But I realize that it really depends on what type of music I listen to for me to get the best experience.

I listen to quite a variety though which includes:
Dubstep
Trance
Contemporary Classical
Melodic Death Metal
Alternative Rock
And the occasional Rap/ Hip hop track.

Thanks in advance :)

Honestly, everyday people join just to ask this question, please use the search tool to find out information that is readily available to you. Both of those headphones likely have reviews.
