Every year my friend and I exchange presents for Christmas (i'm sure a lot of you also share this dilemna). This year we agreed on a $30 price limit and since he's into music i have decided to get him a new pair of iems. I've narrowed it down to head direct re2s and soundmagic pl30s, both of which can be found on ebay for $29. Based on the fact that he likes rnb, and rap which would you recommend?
Any other suggestions are welcome.
-Thanks

Thanks for the input
I did some searching and found them for 20 on amazon.
Anyone have any objections before I buy these?

Saw this thread too late. I was going to recommend the Klipsch S2. Very comfortable, good solid bass, and reasonably balanced (albeit a little bass heavy), and you can get it for $25 on Amazon. Is it too late to cancel your order?

You can get the S2m (with an iPhone-compatible microphone and control button) for the same price (or it might be a little cheaper).

+1
I have both (well, got my brother the M6 and mom the S2m). Personally, I find the M6 too harsh. The S2 on the sound a little more balanced and are very comfortable. Good bass too.

You can get them for $18.50 at Bob&Ron's
