Hey all, Today I went into a bose store and got talked into listening to a set of Bose ie2's with my ipod.  I didnt have time to put them through their pases or anything but why does everyone put them down. I didn't think they sounded as bad as everyone makes them seem?

I'm really curious to see a review of the new IE2 of a real audiophile (they can't be bad forever, with all the profit they make, maybe it's time to bury the hatchet?). It is said to be very comfortable and all reviews I can find are very positive about the SQ. Maybe they would beat a pair like the Panasonic RP-HJE900.

That would be of equal value as a random Amazon review, I'm not an audiophile and only have experience with some budget headphones. But thanks for asking. I like reading reviews on head-fi, including yours, and was just curious where Bose stands at this point. Bose is a company that is great in engineering work (example: suspension systems for (future) cars) and since their entertainment products become very popular among people, I suppose their moneybag evolves proportional, which could lead to a bigger investment in R&D for sound quality. It would be great to read a review of an experienced head-fi'er like you, I recall they have a 30 day return policy.
