Hi,

I broke tonight my earsonics sm3. I love the sound of the sm3 but now i'd like to change earphones possibly with an even better one.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thank you in advance!

If you really liked the sound of the sm3, consider getting it repaired by earsonics, assuming it's still under warranty. Another option is to use a company like Fisher to remold the sm3 into a custom. That is all assuming you want to keep the same sound though. If you're looking for something different, I'll let other more experienced members chime in.

If my SM3's broke, I'd get them replaced ASAP. I wouldn't want to be without them at all.

I do know that Shigzeo uses the word "perfect" for both the SM3 and the Final Audio Design SB/A1 models, though of course its a fairly conditional 'perfect' for him. Maybe if you ask him nicely to do a direct comparison? Since as far as I know he is the only one who has both.

I personally doubt that a single armature IEM can be on par with the SM3's, even though I own them, but I'm just throwing that out there.
