Hi all, someone stole my Sennheiser HD25-1 II.
I had that headphone for a while, not even a complain, it's probably the best headphone I ever owned.
I am searching for a new headphone, if you have any suggestion beside Sennheiser HD25-1 II please recommend it..
Here are the features I am looking:

1. Size matters. Full size of couse. The size of Sennheiser HD25-1 II is perfect, don't feel weird to wear it on street. Dislike too big headphone.
2. Bass. Yes, I need bass.
3. Durable and comfortable. I think I was kind of abusing Sennheiser HD25-1, but it's still working after 2-3 years of usage.

Thanks for your help!

Damn that sucks. I never leave my HD25-1 II's somewhere for that reason. It gets stolen instantly.
IMO you should just get a new one. Nothing beats the HD25-1's in a portable situation. I don't know any other headphone that offers the same package of excellent SQ, compact and lightweight design, and durability (like, the most durable cans on the planet)

I don't have as much experience with higher end headphones but the HD25-II's were the best I've ever heard. I've just never enjoyed headphones as much as I did when I tried those. Combined that with their size and noise isolation( best passively isolated headphones I've ever used) I don't think for myself they could be beat.

If anything I'd say get them again cause nothing else in the compact/ category even comes close.

Yes, the HD 25-1 IIs are quite hard to beat for the price, they don't have excessive amount of bass though, just the right amount. How about the beyer DT series? I've heard they are good.

The great thing about them is that they are easy to drive out of a portable source, but also scale very well with higher end equipment.
Hooked up to my Asgard amp they easily hold their own against the HD600´s.

you can try the esw9a although they are not as durable.
