hi!
which host do you guys think is best for a small business? i'm hoping to spend less than $15/month. it seems that 500mb is about the minimum size... not sure how much transfer amount i'll need. also, i've never used a host before, but i would assume a nice interface between the service and myself would be nice.
so, what you guys think? i guess one of the goals of this project is also to learn skills for work. i was thinking, i probably want a unix based host, since i don't know unix and many bigger corporations use it. but what do you guys think?--go towards php/unix programming? or ASP and VisualBasic programming? which do you think would land me a better job?--or better chance of getting a job?
hmm... just remembered: i know many of these hosts have rules about their content. i want to be able to put anything i want there, that's not illegal. i don't want anyone filtering my email nor checking my content, other than posting piracy and that sort of stuff. no, i'm not starting a **** site, but i don't want them to confuse good art with pornography.
thanks,
dean
