I like how there's 3 pages of people arguing about high IQ's and only 2 people even attempted to answer the questions and they both chose completely different answers

and no, i dont know the answers.

None of us are smart enough to answer!

I got 189 200 and 202 on Internet, they are bunk

I had to take a real one once when I was a child due to my poor performance. Thwy believed i was either dumb or bored, it was a long series of tests taking multiple days bc a psychologic evaluation was also required along with one test being up to 400 ?'s long.... I never was told my iq until I turned 18 but I knew it was above average bc afterwards I was upped to all advanced courses (I was in 8th grade I believe) so I knew I was smart but after I was accepted to UMTYUMP or whatever, basically math Mensa for kids, I was able to complete all math by age 16, thru Calculus 4 along w Diff. eQ in linear algebra.

I was told a specific # can not be attributed to ur IQ rather a range, most of the time people say the high end of their iq 'range' if in fact they took legitimate test.

Anyways, I'm at a range of ~ 140-150 w/ low reading skills and high math/science. IQ means nothing, to have an aptitude for certain skills is one thing while discipline is another and much more important. The highest IQ in recent history was 189 or so from a man who makes 5k a year as a bouncer! He says why would he go to college or anything if he's smarter than the person teaching him.

So my point is this "quiz" has nothing to do with ur IQ as a whole but merely ur visual learning ability and pattern recognition. It looks like an online quiz....

Haven't had time to look at the rest but I'll answer #1. The answer for that one is G. If you look at the pattern, the ones on the outside are + and the ones on the inside are -. After you figure that out, its all simple math -2 + 2 = 0.

I'll give the other ones a shot now.

You wouldn't happen to know Jerry TerEick, would you? He was a teacher/tutor for UMTYUMP.

Mathematically the patterns add up, but I'm not seeing any visual pattern though... first line (third row) those two dots should not be opposite to each other, but more like top left and right. I always hated math so I just stared at the visual pattern and got annoyed by line two, when someone says it's simple math.. I say no.. it's a trap. Like asking what does 2 plus 2 equals, 3 or 6?

Given the alternatives, I refuse to answer.. nonsensical fashion statements is not my thing, #1 is just absurd!

I'm on my iPhone lol so I barely even looked at the problems I'll give it a shot when I get back home, I do not remember that name but I tool that over ten years ago.....umptyump that is

All I'm saying is those four problems do not sum up someones intelligence, but I do realize now that's it's a little game...I didn't read thru all the posts lol

Yes, I still do not see any visual pattern in them, so I can't answer unless I make one up. Which, admittedly, our human minds do from time to time.

I sure hope the OP comes back someday

I think the answer to #1 could hide the secret of the Universe...

may I ask at members who attempt to answer, if not random, kindly to include a short/simple explanation to why it is, so that I/we may get it too, if possible

sorry your answer makes less sense to me, than the riddle itself. I can see there are specific patterns in the way the dots are placed, but I can't figure out how the ones outside are + and the others -.
if anything, personally, I'd rule out G, and H,B,C too. would you mind explaining further

This is a common technque in these tests, turning things into numeric values, you have to know that this is what they are looking for, if you are not familar with that transformation then you cannot answer the problem...the solution does work.
