Luxman DA-200

Looks very promising... from what I understood (with the help of Google translator), the da section is taken from the D-05 CD player (a $5000 one), and the amp section is derivated from the P1u (no need to introduce it)! Love the look. Expected price is ¥155,400 (1360 euros/$1910). Sounds like a killer combo!!!

Has someone any other info?

Looks so sweet. Really in love with Luxman stuffs. Time to save for another amp.

Yes, it looks really cool, clear and simple, yet classy as always with Luxman gear.

What I like is that the conceptors have obviously paid equal attention to both DAC and amp sections, which is not common.

If the amp really comes from the P1u, there would be no need to buy a separate high quality amp.

Looks interesting, I'm in for upgrading my source, so I'll wait and see how this compares to the Ref.1 and 7.

Holy crap did the Gods hear me on this one! I really want a Luxman amp, and wanted a Luxman source, but I'm simply not going to buy any more CD Players. This posed a problem for me because Luxman did not have a separate DAC, until now. Oh baby have my prayers been answered.

This looks sweet. I need more $$$

meh I would consider it if it was balanced. Looks nice though

Holy CRAP!  Did you see the internals of this freakin thing!!!

The design parameters = efficiency. A dac output is not that different to a preamp outpout is not that different to a headphone output... I think?

Yup...I saw internal shots ... lots of empty space compared to this Luxman or the AudioGD stuff - I didn't know any better back then and thought all hi-end stuff had empty space and I consoled myself by fantasizing that it was for heat dissipation or EMF or whatever to ease my concerns...so no offence take - I will rectify any errors that I may or may not have made in the past thanks to this forum!!!  My wallet doesn't seem to share the same appreciation for Head-Fi...I wonder why?

Yes... I will be buying this as my first dedicated DAC.

Well when it comes out you'll have to post pictures and give us a wee little review.
