I'd be using these to drive my IEM's, atm only IE7's though soon ill have the super.fi 5 pro's and triple.fi's, I like pretty much all genres but mainly R&B and screamo/heavy metal etc.

Currently I've been looking at the Sansa View and Sansa Fuse reason why I'm not interested in the Clips is well where i'll be getting them they're pretty much the same price and the fuse looks much better.

Also had a look at the P3 and Zune HD though I'm not to sure if it's worth the extra, but it's not that much difference, would you say that the p3/zune hd have much better SQ than the sansa's? I'm open to any other suggestions.

Thanks.

O MY GOD I JUST ROCKBOXED MY 2ND GEN IPOD NANO HOLY crap THE DIFFERENCE IS !??!! UNDESCRIBEABLE, I WOULD PAY TO USE THIS SOFTWARE, BUT IT'S FREE! EVEN BETTER HOLY ____!_ I havn't used my nano in over 3 months and the last time I used it was because I broke my 3GS, omg i wonder how much better these would sound with a portable amp... hmm or how much better the sanza would sound Rockboxed mmmmm

I would go for the Fuze. I don't care much for the Fuze + though. You can always rockbox your Fuze and tailor it to suit your audio needs.

I keep hearing these "Rockboxed fuse" do I send them the Fuze then they re-format it or something? or is it a program that I download free/pay and just install it somehow?:S

Yeah true and I really like the Sansa Fuze's design as in it's small and can go up to 40gb if i get the 8gb +32gb micro sd.

The new Sony E Series will be coming out in 16gb as well, and it'll cost less than $100.00. Or, as suggested, a Sansa Fuze w/Rockbox. Even a clip+ Rockboxed will be great.

I also just checked the Sony Style website, and they have the Sony S639 16gb for $89.99. It's supposed to be a refurb, but due to an expired coupon in the box it's sold that way. THIS is a GREAT DEAL!!!

The buttons on the S639 are easier to use than the ones on the S545. That said, the S545 is a nice sounding DAP, with nice battery life.....I traded mine simply because I was bored with it and wanted something new.

I own the S639, not the S545. The S639 is the premium model - it's made of metal and feels high quality. Plus, it allows you to change themes, personalize your home screen wallpaper, and it has the SenseMe playlists: Sony Walkman NWZ-S639F 16GB Review

A little research does help BTW.
