Could the case be made to amp these? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

Now I know that the majority of headfi'ers are adamantly against Beats Solo headphones, however I was given a pair (a couple actually) through working at HP and our joint venture putting "beats" soundcards in our laptops.
Anyways, I digress...
I have a pair of Beats Solo's that I currently drive with my iPhone, iPod classic, and home pc (audigy 2 zs, bleh)
I know that a Dac is in my future along with a different pair of cans, but was wondering if there would be any benefit to amping these headphones now, or if I should wait until I get another pair?

They sound fine unamped, and you wont have much improvement if you buy an amp for them.

Just wait till you get a nice pair of headphones.

I never heard the beats before, but if you know any audio shop around, maybe you can take the beats and audition some amps to see if there is a significant improvement.
