I can get the Link III in great condition for $160 shipped, and the DI/O for $95 shipped.

A fast response is appreciated, as I have to make a decision soon.

I'd go with the Link III. I think you would have spend more to mod the stock DIO to equal the level of the Link III.

Do a search. I did a review of a modded MSB vs modded DI/O some time ago.

The MSB link III is very good, and has lots of upgrade options. Add the upsampling to it and it gets excellent. Can also add the P-1000 power supply upgrade. Havn't heard the other.
