Just wondering how many stretched the headband slightly to loosen the fit and make it more comfy?

Stretched it, but still hurts for prolonged listening sessions.

I stretched mine on a mannequin head for the first few weeks.  That helped both the band and maybe more importantly the pads.

I stretched mine out a bit. It appears from what people report that more recent LCD-2 have lighter clamping force out of the box.
