I have a PCM7030. All working but the Servo, Play Condition and Mute lights blink frequently. I am a seasoned (30 years on the bench) audio engineer. I have cleaned the heads, all 4 of them.
Didi you say that a DATA DAT drive mech can be used. If so can you give more details please? I'm assuming it fits inside the chassis and operates as the original one did? Model number of the drive would be fantastic.
I dont want to bin this and plenty of time has been spent on it so far.
