Asus Xonar Xense vs Essence ST/STX?

I'm actually surprised there was no dedicated thread on this yet.

 

I'm quite interested in how will these 2 compare since the Xense seems to bring an audio quality close to the Essence but in a more gaming-oriented fashion.

 

So... has anybody tested both?

You pretty much prolly be better off with the ST/X unless you want those tweaked PC350 thats included with the Xense.The only way I see it towards the gaming is the headphones unless theres alot more to it besides those headphones in the sound card software for it.

is the xense significantly different from the essence? I have the opportunity to buy a xense cheap. I mean, dirt cheap. I always thought the xense was an essence with 7.1 and a headphone. could anyone enlighten me?
