Is there such a thing yet? It'd be nice to play all the songs I have burned to DVD in mp3 format on a good portable player and also have the ability to play standard CD's. I'll be getting an iPod so the point may seem moot but I can see a use for such a device especially if it's got a line out, which iPod lacks, and a built in radio.

Most portable dvd players can play mp3s.
Your title suggests that you meant dvd-audio the format.
Panasonic does make a few portable dvd players that also plays dvd audio disks.

I didn't think so either which is why I mentioned that most portable dvd players will play MP3s.
The problem is that most portable dvd players don't have the slick navigation interface of the latest HD based players.

Burning over 4 gigs on dvd seems appealing to me.

I'd love to be able to listen to SACDs portably, even "just stereo" would be wonderful.
