Creative Aurvana Live for $60 - it's the lowest I have seen them in a long time.

That's still $3 more that 3 weeks ago when I bought mine.  The $90 for a refurb puts a floor on how low a new pair will go for.  It reminds me a lot of just before the K501 was discontinued.  I doubt they'll have the cult following that the K501 had shortly after it was discontinued though.  Prices went up in a hurry shortly after the K501 was discontinued.

I wish I saw this earlier.

A lot of people in FS forum sell more expansive than some reseller these days,
don't know what they are thinking...

I'm kind of seeing similar results.  I'm looking for more Grados to mod, but some people are selling "nearly new" headphones with only a $20 depreciation / discount.  It would be good if we had something like Audiogon does - the blue book of prices.  Then again, one does have to pay for such a subscription.

Either they paid full retail for their goods and they try to get back the most of their cost for their goods or they bought at discount price and trying to make a few bucks.

In the latter case, I could make some money here since I can buy at dealer cost plus 5-10% but I am not into re-sell business. This is simply a hobby of mine.

ACDOAN makes an excellent point.
You guys should be more patient.

Or...
- the price went down since they bought it
- non US location

There are plenty of factors at work here, and not everyone keeps an eagle eye on market prices.
