ALO SXC vs Westone ES Cables ? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

Hi there, anyone can chime in on the differences between the stock cables for Westone ES series and the silver-plated copper by ALO (SXC) ? I'm thinking of getting the ALO SXC for primarily aesthetical reasons (love the silver plated copper that won't oxidize to green !!!!!) but wondering if there is a significant difference in sound. I'll be getting the ES5 so i'm hoping its a worthy upgrade.

Bump for a great question. Personally I am sceptical of the value proposition for these $300 upgrades but I am open to being convinced.

I mean they look great but i'd like to be convinced that i'm buying them for more than just looks. There's really little in terms of reviews comparing the stock cables to the ALO SXC.

Except that I love the ergonomics of Craig's Micro TWaag LODs. And I was in the mood to buy something expensive that wasn't too expensive.
