I communicated today with Mr. Vrana from Casea company and he said me that he is able prepare special setup of Lyra amp for HE-6. I think excellent solid state amp for Hifiman headphones is very good idea. When I will have them in hands, I am going prepare careful review. It is naturally expected my work ...

no problem

Sorry to hear about the problems.

But on the positive side it helps the developers revealing issues and fixing them before they go final.

Enjoy!

Hello All,

I am first tester, and in my personal opinion, I can suggest to Hifiman to work on major quality. I can suggest to work better on the manufacture, on assembly of the skin, and the bow that is not very adaptable to head.

The H6 is wonderful, but hard to tighten the connectors under the bonnet, are a bit too small.

Thanks for great opportunity Jan.

Best regards,

Carlo.

I think the beta22 will be disappointing with the HE-6. My TTVJ 307A sounded OK but didn't come close to what my Aragon monoblocs accomplished. You really need a speaker amp to bring the best out of these headphones.

Dear everybody,

I am sorry for the long silence on this matter. There have been quite a number of discussions regarding the HE-6 and its looks all over the world and next week a new prototype should be finished that has got a very different finish and also small improvements to the magnetic structure to make the drivers slightly more efficient. The basic design stays the same but the look should be much more appealing to most users.

So plesae just wait a little longer and we should have something really nice soon.

The "next week" is soon ending. I wonder if there are updated news?

Would be nice to see the European HE-6 loaner program up and running again, seeing how the US one keep on running.

Glad to see that Fang has done his best to keep his promise about including Europe in the Loaner program.

In case anyone is wonderingwhy this thread has shrunk by 1/3, it's because I have warned Mr. "Casea" Neptius 6 times about never mentioning that amp again, and yet I am still getting pm's every night about him soliciting through the PM system and in every thread he could lay his hands on about the czech amp.   He just didn't get it. I recycled the pollution like a Sharper Image Ionic Breeze filter.. Now we can breath again.

Carry on with the business at hand. By the way, he was doing it everywhere he posted. He was an equal opportunity shiller.

Hi Everybody,

Fang tells me the headphones should be on their way from China to Germany. So if DHL customs clearing is not throwing a nervous fit again and feels itself up to the task of actually using my customs and tax ID numbers together with my customer ID that they all have on file we might just have them go out again next week. As you can imagine from the above DHL's track record for doing customs clearance is less than stellar. I remember they actually held the units we were showing in Munich for several days trying to figure out how to do customs clearance for something that was obviously expensive but had no invoice attached. Well - maybe we all know better now.

So just hang in there and good things will come your way. And a photo of the new look as well.

Best regards,

Jan
