So, I'm sitting here having done better on my Phonetics quiz this afternoon listening to the Top Gun soundtrack on SACD and I'm barely able to keep my train of thought. The music is that good! It's like, I dunno...I get lost in hi-rez music so quickly. It's so real and immersive. One of my pet fantasies is becoming one of my favorite musicians or singers. Just getting paid to do what I love to do most. And I think that though the Compact Disc is a perfectly good medium, the hi-rez formats do a number on it. I can't describe it: the music is so real, natural, and utterly addicting. And I'm not just talking about SACD either. DVD-Audio takes the cake as well in its own respects.

After it's all said and done (and my money well spent), it's all about the music. I'm just enjoying the music and my system is sounding its very best. I don't even have to describe it but to say that the music flows so freely and naturally. Hi-rez makes the music so unbelievably addictive! It's the best thing I've yet heard.

Okay, more studying like a madman (while listening to hi-rez music of course)!

I just bought Roxy Music, Avalon and it is just terrific. It's a refreshing break from all the commercialized pop / rock music I so often get on Compact Disc. SACD is just killing DVD-Audio in terms of selection titles in 2003. Hopefully, DVD-Audio will start making the right moves in 2004 to remain a viable and competitive hi-rez format. Pure DSD Stereo is the best...better than 24bit/192kHz Advanced Resolution Stereo. It's so natural, effortless, and smooth. This is like the Godiva of chocolates for my ears. Damn!

I think that I made a wise decision to switch drugs from chewing tobacco to music (specifically hi-rez)! Oh, my poor wallet!
