Sansa Fuze LOD problem. Audio on one side only, unless I take out the headphone's plug slightly off my amps.

So the Sansa Fuze LOD I ordered from Ebay (freaking all the way in Honk Kong nevertheless, I live in the US), just arrived today. I was ecstatic. That was until I actually plugged it into my Fuze, and paired it with 2 different Fiio E5s, and the Astro Mixamp. With 4 different headphones too. In all tests, I can only get audio from one side unless I slightly pull out the headphone jack. If I do that, I get both channels but it sounds muddy, and just illogical anyway as it would be waaaay too lose.

I'm assuming this is a problem with the LOD itself, or am I supposed to have some special headphone plug that goes into my amps to work with the fuze? They are all I assume standard 3.5mm (1/8) jacks.

I'd have to pay to return the freaking cable, and I'm not so sure I want to get a replacement if it will just happen again...

edit: the seller is sending out a replacement ASAP, so I hope this next one works...

Soldering a Sansa LOD is quite tricky. I don't know what LOD connector you got, but if it is similar to the DIY that uses two capacitors it is very easy to make a shortcut because of the tiny space where everything should be put together.
