Currently a week now without my beloved cans. But certainly hope it's not a MONTH that passes! They're out to get hard wired.

That's why I got a back up pair.

This hard wire thing. Are they landing the new cables into the wafer or are they just soldering the new cable to the internal red wires coming off the adapter? I gotta tell ya, I can't see how they can get anything more than a 30 gauge in the solder hole. So a beast like the Zeus 24 wire cable wire, how are they landing that many in such a small hole?

Before I attempt to answer the question, Robert will shove my Wireworld 19 gauge wire thru somehow... some way... wizardry, I tell ya! Honestly, I don't know at what part of the cable the merger will happen.

What I do know is he said it's simpler to use brand new cable than existing cable already installed. This may provide a clue.

How do you like the sound differences?

Lets put it this way, It was difficult going back to my stock pair afterwards. They sounded completely open, with I believe better and more natural  bass presence and slam. My buddy from Lampizator was shocked at the improvement.
Now I can't wait to get the Audeze pad I ordered. Am I missing any other important mod?

Guys, can anyone let me know which shop offers this grill mod? Many thanks

Grill material came from a small file shelf. It was a DIY project. These were removed, then the new grill cut and put in place.

I liked the comfort of the pair of hE6 he had on. They were very comfortable and the audeze pad was very comfortable and  made the headphone feel like it was floating on my hear. I may haveo get  pair and put  them on my HE6.
