X2, still no daily combined updates
I received a PM notification. I'll wait and see if I receive daily thread updates though.
I am receiving some notifications, but the link in the notification takes you to the first post in the tread, not the first new post of the notification.

Same issue here. Can someone fix this?
Things went from one extreme to another.
Initially I wasn't receiving any notifications of updated threads, or at least not for ones that I was subscribed to before the forums upgrade. I was just getting PM notifications. Now I am getting a copy of EVERY post made in ANY thread that I am subscribed to, which is hundreds of notifications a day because i have over 3000 subscriptions!
In the old days, if a thread was updated I'd get one email letting me know, and the forum would not send more notices after that until I logged in to read the forums. But this forum keeps sending emails over and over and over as the new posts are added to that updated thread, which is only a benefit if I want to read ALL of my subscriptions offline and not log in to see all the new posts.
If I change my settings to "daily digest" in my profile, it only changes that for new subscriptions. So, I went to edit my old subscriptions individually, but it makes me change them all ONE by ONE, and hit the okay button between changing each one! This is nuts. On top of that, even if I had the time to change 3000 subscriptions one-by-one, the forum has a 1000 thread limit for editing them. I may have to set up a rule in my Mac mailbox to delete all subscription notifications until this is fixed, but unless I delete them on the server they still clog up my iPhone and iPad mailbox.
I love the fact that I can log in to read only a few of the updated threads when I have a little time, then come back later to finish reading more threads, and the forum remembers exactly where I left off without re-setting them all as having been read;but this new problem replaced my old one in terms of being a PITA. Sorry to complain Jude, but I sure hope this gets fixed, although I greatly appreciate the other fixes immensely.
