Which music players have the ability to upload music to the computer?

I'll tell ya which ones don't.....

Crummy Sony Net Minidisc. Sony are really killing the minidisc format by releasing it with desperately poor software.

Can anyone see them dumping this format soon for something MP3 compatible, hard drive driven ala iPod? They always said that they would not manufacture a hifi CD-R / RW saying that minidisc was a better option for home recording but as soon as they got left behind on this they changed tack and released one thats matches and beats most of the competition.

Sorry to jack your thread cs1323.

iPod does through third party (some free) software. See here for a sampling on the Mac side. I believe Elphpod (I may be wrong) does on the PC side.

all creative nomad players can too.

in fact all models (that I know of) can upload either by defaullt, or with the provided software, or 3rd party apps - except Dell DJ and Toshiba Gigabeat models. Some older models may have the restriction but I dont think discontinued products apply.

edit - just read Cnet review on Samsung YP910 - can upload from it as well.
