I know there was a thread for a Vancouver meet that was created some time ago but I think nothing really materialized from it

. Just gauging what the interest level is now for a potential meet for all you fellow Vancouver head-fi'ers. Perhaps sometime in the summer?

Feel free to chime in with suggestions or comments. Maybe this time around we can get something together!

Count me in. I don't have much on offer, but a mini-meet to get to know the locals sounds like a good idea at minimum. June is good for me.

I'll really only have one or two items of interest: ESW-9s and possibly Triple-Fi Pros if I can get my sister to dig them out when she comes out to visit.

[EDIT] Saw a dude with the new B&W cans this morning on my way to work. That any of you guys?

Ah doesn't really matter what gear you have to share, I'm sure everyone has something that at least one person will not have heard before. If not, bring a few albums from your music library you think we'll appreciate.

I'm okay with a tentative mid-June date, but its too far into the future to say for sure.

I'm hoping to have a nice new toy in the next couple weeks, hopefully someone will bring a good amp + source combo so I can really test them out

I'm not sure whether I'll be in Vancouver in June. I was wondering whether there would be any interest in meeting, say mid-May?

Sounds like it would be pretty interesting since most the people here have different cans from what I have. As for me, some of the stuff you guys might be interested in:

Denon D5000
Grado SR325is
Pioneer HDJ2000 (Not really discussed on Head-Fi)
Pioneer SE-L25 (Early 70's vintage)
JVC FX500

I only have one DAC/Amp though, a GoVibe Magnum, so I'm pretty curious to hear what other amps are like.

I just sold my SE 530s so all I have now is the samsung Yp-T9 but I'd love to listen to my new JH 16s off a portable amp or Hifiman. I have my library burnt to FLAC (10,000 songs) so I could bring that.
