I had trouble keeping my Monster Turbine cables over my ears, so I wore them down; Just a little microphonics, not a big deal.
My TF10's stay around my ears due to the memory wire, win.

Now, enter my SE530- I love the sound and bringing these to the gym due to their low microphonics and high isolation/sound quality. The only issue? I can't run in them due to the cable slipping off my ears every few seconds. It really is a shame, but I am hoping you guys may have tips to share.

I have a couple of guides including the PFE ones NYJETS28 mentioned but find I get frustrated with most of them and just loop the cable over my ear and occasionally use the cable slider in conjunction like lucozade.

I have this problem with my Super.fi 5vi. They don't have a cable slider so I ended up gently twisting the headphone cables into a corkscrew/braided like shape until they stay put around my ears. I usually wear my IEM's under my shirt/jacket so you can't even tell.

Are your Shures new? I had a little trouble with my SE530's (and E500's) when they were new but once the cable stiffened up a bit I had no issues keeping them snug.

The cable on my HJE900 is just long enough so when I wear the cable over my ears, there's enough slack for me to move, but not enough for the cable to get dislodged from behind my ears.

The best way I've found was to raise the slider right under the chin but not too close or it gets uncomfortable. That keeps it over my ears pretty well. There is also an over the ear guide but most of the times I don't like using those since they make it harder to put on.

I use a pair of silicone ear guides I bought on eBay for $3 on my RE0s. I'd buy more (and link you to the listing) but the seller hasn't re-listed them yet on eBay.
