Just getting into phones and wanted to do a bit of research before I bought some more expensive ones and came across these while shopping at Fry's. I knew the brand UE was good but not sure on pricing. Came home to check for best price and I haven't seen anything really close from a reliable retailer. Hot, warm, or cold deal for the price and any other competitors at this price?

Super.fi 5 for $69.99 after rebate

Super.fi 4 for $39.99 after rebate

Loud Enough for $4.99 after rebate (Children phones but ?)

Their list price for Super Fi 5 (from the pic they are a SF5Pro) is $99...And after a $30 rebate makes them $69...Really cheap...I wonder if they are legit...

If you're wondering about how legit Fry's is - don't worry about it. They're a big brick and mortar store chain in the US - so they're very legit. I've bought many times from their stores and online. The crowds at their stores (Bay Area, CA) are often ridiculous - especially for big sales.

Do the Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5 have the same sound signature as the TF10's? I don't see any other store online that sells them for under $100.

Not the same sound signature as the triple-fi's.

This was a good deal at 99. I bought these at fry's a couple months ago, then returned them when i found triple fi's on the bay from the Great Amazon Sale of 2009. Fry's is totally legit. They are a smaller chain, but their stores are MASSIVE. You could fit 3 best buys inside of 1 fry's. Buy with confidence. There's a lot of stuff you can find at fry's significantly cheaper than you can at b&ms. Ultimate Ears products happen to be one of them.

They had this sale before. Also same mistake as last time. They are the SF 5 and not the SF 5 Pro as pictured so make sure you want that particular model.

. Too bad they do not put their deals on their site outpost.com.

For those who have the super.fi 4, how would they do as a work out phone? I have the UM3X, so I like a balanced sound signature. I don't want anything too noise isolating but not w/ big microphonics either...

Omg, that ís cheap!
Have been thinking about buying a pair of UE IEMs for quite some time now so I might think about getting these now.
Dont know if I can trust that though... a 30 dollar discount is quite alot. Because they go for 250 USD on the official UE website, I just cant believe that another store sells the same product for 180 dollars less...
Makes me think that those earphones arent legit or have some faults or something.
Does any1 have any experience with that store? Would like to know if its trustable cuz a discount like this is very tempting ofcourse :p

Oh and btw, does FRYS.com accept PayPal? I dont have a credit card :p.

You are looking at the wrong product on UE's site, also those manufacturer retail prices will always be much higher than actual street prices... And as mentioned already, Frys is a legitimate store. I have one nearby that I visit every once in a while, they are big warehouse-like stores, really busy all the time.

I live about 5 minutes from a Fry's store. They are definitely legit and are 10X better than Best Buy IMO.

Assuming those 'loud enough' buds come in retail packaging, they are worth it just for the excellent carrying case, my favorite ever:

UE sells these cases for $10+shipping.
