Just had a thought about the IHP 100 VS. 120..

What are if any, besides the storage size, the differences between the IHP 100 and 120 ? I"m thinking that if they decide to release a 40 gig which is what alot of people really want, including myself..I'd rather just get the IHP 100 until that time. Now that the IHP 100 supports Ogg, and only costs $300 ...what else would I be missing from the 120 that the 100 doesn't have ?

built in preamp and a external mic..

other then that i think they are no other differences

You have any links about the technical aspects of the pre amp ? I can't find any solid info about it. Thanks.

it talks about the mic...but i dont remember if it has any specs about the preamp

Hmm. Ok. Don't really care about the external mic. That link goes to some Korean site. Not sure if it's my browser (Mozilla Firebird) which is having problems reading it, but it doesn't go to any pdf document. Thanks though. I'll just go and get it from the site.

Are the I/O's on the 100 and 120 the same ? I'd imagine that the pre amp serves a good purpose ...aside from better sound quality..maybe not though.

I don't have my ihp-120 yet (but its on its way as we speak!!) but it has a text reader on it.

my ihp-120 is also on the way...
we already has text support on ihp-100 from it's first firmware update

Well then, if there's no logical reason to get the IHP-120, aside from higher storage capacity then I may as well get the 100 and prey they release a 40 gig. I dunno..maybe. Cus really, it's only a $50 difference and I'd probably be able to sell the 120 for a good price.

Hmm...what to do, what to do.

But that probably wont be for awhile because they just came out with their 20 gig.
