Ortofon EQ7 Earphones

I recently tried some of these and was impressed enough to pursue carrying them. They are some of the best universal fit balanced armature phones I have heard. They are one of, if not the best built also, beautiful. They come in black, red and silver.

Its hard to compare a custom to a universal fit. I have a pair of JH13s and yeah they are in a different class. However for a universal fit the EQ7s and the Westone3s are my go to universal IEM.

e-Q7 is really a great top-tier universal IEM but simply doesn't get enough attention because there ain't that many dealers around. It is nice to know ALO decides to carry it. I have reviewed it here.

I own mine since the first time I heard about them. It goes nice with my Yuins and others. Ortofon is a unique class in itself. High end I would say, for less money

It can hang with ES3X for sure IMO. But not JH13 I guess.

EDIT: And BTW, they look gorgeous in silver! Mine are red - they don't look quite as flashy as the silver ones.

How is the isolation on these? Also, how do they compare to the westone 3's? Thanks,

Hey Will,

To me the isolation on all the IEMs are about the same, I really do not notice any of the universal fit ones being much different. The W3s to me are a little smoother, but again with the 3 drivers this is what I would expect.

Hi Ken,

I was wondering if these would fit me as i have small ear canals. I currently have the sony mdr ex500 with small sony hybrid tips and they fit well. Would these do the same job?

Thanks.
