I just purchased the hd595 and ath ad700 to try out and I want a new adapter cause I read that the hd595 one isn't great.

My main criteria are build quality and less stress on the jack. What say you? HD650, Grado, or Cardas adapter? If there's really no difference I'll go with the cheapest, the hd650.

Yah get the Grado, very, very good for the money.

So, no votes for Cardas? I like the 45 degree on the Cardas, but the Grado is more readily available, less expensive, and seems to aggregate more positive feedback.

I have the Grado. It definitely is putting less stress on the cable. That and I can plug it into my Zune when it's in a case which is really the only reason I got it. Poor Zune seems violated when I use the Senn adapter.

Retail 2002

when you factor in shipping cost for the sennheiser adapter, the grado adapter for $15 shipped isn't too bad.
