I took apart the left earbud as it was cutting out and buzzing like crazy these days, it wasnt as bad at first. Well it seem that the tiny tiny tiny little strand of copper wire that connects some stuff together (looks like motor/transducer connection(cant even tell whats what in there hehe)) has severed so now I have a half-working pair of senn mx500s... ****ty.

Anyone have any suggestions on connecting together a wire .00001746" in diameter?

solder more carefully than you ever have and will in your entire life....

seriously......at least its not as hard to replace the mx500's as it is the v6's....

dude, have you ever tried to surface mount components using a toaster oven?

Just practice soldering small things. Piece of cake.

heh i suck at soldering as it is... this is gonna be a challenge. Yea it is "easy" to replace them but the 18 bucks or so i spent on them is a lot of money to me these days.

cant deny that. besides, with the price difference you can get the senns AND a CD player AND A couple of CDs......or save for a little more and get etys
