I need something portable and was planning to get the Cyclones. Now they seem to be unavailable. I don't know whether to wait or go for the Yuins. I know they are a totally different form factor. I am only interested in how the sound signature compares. Thanks.

They are a different form factor but also the Yuin don't isolate which most always hurts SQ when external noise invades.

Otherwise, I've had both and find the Cyclone and Yuin to have a similar sound. Both are balanced and tight sounding with a similar amount of detail. Both have a large soundstage with good separation. I found the Cyclone sound more fun though. A bit better speed and PRaT. Instrument placement/layering is different and I felt the Cyclone had a bit more depth to the image.
