I am averaging around 1.80-1.90 mb/sec. I just feel the transfer speed is slow. Does that sound right, guys?

What are you using to transfer you music? I use Media Monkey and it is blazing fast for transfers with my E344.

The transfer rate is my only real beef with this product. I always feel it is slow. Not sure what actual rates I am getting, but windows media player sync vs good ole drag n drop doesn't seem to make a difference.
