What would be the better buy?

Sony MDR-CD2000 for $200

OR

Sony MDR-CD3000 for $380

I know that the CD3000 for that price is a good price but should I spend the extra 180 bucks to get them?

Are both bass bloated like all other sony?

Neither the CD2000 nor the CD3000 is like most other Sony headphones (*coughVCRAPcough*; *chokeStreetStylechoke*).

A second the all Sony's aren't bass bloated. The Eggos for instance when criticized are so because of lack of bass.

I'll let you know when I get my CD780's how they handle bass. Not sure if there's any characteristics to the Sony CD line.
