Hey guys, I have to ask, because I'm on a relatively strict budget.

How much better is the S4 compared to the S2? Right now I use Skullcandy titans, are the S2 going to be worth the upgrade? or should I really spend the extra on the S4 when I have enough money.

At london drugs the S2 are $69.99, and the S4 are $109.99... way to much for me right now.

You can get the Klipsch S4s are SoundEarphones.com for $70 shipped. Used coupon code "9offsound".

Klipsch - Klipsch Image S Headphones - SoundEarphones.com Your Earphone & Headphone Source for Ultimate Ears, Shure, Sleek-Audio, Ultrasone, Sennheiser, PS Audio, Grado, Skullcandy, Monster, V-Moda

Not sure if you're from Canada or not (those are US dollars), so sorry if that doesn't help.

Otherwise, it sounds like the Klipsch S4 is about the best thing going for $70. If going somewhat cheaper, I'd probably lean toward the Maximo iMetal 590 -- around $40, US dollars.

Electronica Direct - MAXIMO iM-590 iMetal Enhanced Definition Isolation Earphones Black - IMEP-0590-02 (use Bing Shopping for a nice rebate)

Let us know what'cha do!

do you have a better suggestion for within the $70 price range that sound better then the Klipsch S4's?

Through my researching I found Klipsch to be the best, most often recommended earphone for the $70 range, give or take a couple bucks.

I'm always open to other suggestions.'

Unfortunately, yes, in Canada (I only say unfortunately because of the lack of selection here... for everything lol)

So Kilpsch is definitely more worth it them any of the rest for the price eh? I'll find em cheaper then.

Do I need to be worried about fakes in the same boat as Sennheiser CX300's?

How are the CX300's? likely still going to make my Skullcandy titans sound like shat LOL.

Another vote for the S4, and the 1st vote against the above mentioned "iMetal".

Interesting. I've not ever heard the iMetal 590s. What do you not like about them?

+1 on the Image S4 (I am listening to my Image S4i connected to my 4G iPod nano right now as type this).

However, I do recommend switching to the Comply Foam Tx-100 ear tips if you have concerns about the S4 falling out of your ears easily, though.
