I've had a pair of Super.fi 5 Pro's for about a year and a half. Because of the low prices of the Triple.fi 10's I decided to buy a pair. The treble, clarity, and sound stage are awsome on the Triple fi's. However, I find the bass lacking...lacking more than my Super.fi 5 pro's. On my Super.fi pro's the bass was more full and powerfull. This isn't so with the Triple.Fi's. There's bass but it sounds tiny and less full. How is this possible? Am I loosening my head? I haven't read any other complaints like this.

You're losing your head.

I have used the SF5 Pro for several years and the TF10 Pro bass is enormous in comparison.

Yes the higher end TF10 is more accurate/less colored and has a bit less bass than the SF 5 Pro.

i upgraded from the 5 pro to the 10 pro.

i think it is more that since the triples have much better highs, you think the bass is less, but i dont feel that is the case. i found the triple's bass to be a notch above the 5 pro bass, and i cant go back to the lack of detail in the 5 pros after the 10's. the layers of detail in the 10's is pretty darn intense stuff.

I upgraded from the 5 pro's and that's pretty much my feelings as well. I find the bass on the 5 pro's kinda sloppy now in comparison.

The bass has more punch and depth and detail than the 5's. It probably because the TF10's display more detail in the other freQ ranges that its harder to focus on the bass.
