I'm not sure that's a particularly valid question. To the person with $1000 to spend, a $1000 earphone selling for $800 might look like a bargain. OTOH, for the person with $20 to spend the same deal still looks ridiculous.

I think the Klipsch Image S4's sound darn nice for $79.

i really like the re0. i actually think it sounds better to me than the TF10. only problem is that the re0 lacks bass and body, but the treble and mids are just so good.

That's not exactly true. Although the value of a dollar is subjective, the performance bought with those dollars stays the same, and is largely affected by the law of diminishing returns. The $800 headphone doesn't perform any better or worse for either buyer. But maybe I'm being a bit pedantic on this point.
