Hi all

I'm planning to buy the SONY hybrids to give them a test, but right now I can only test them on my PL21.

Will they fit or will they be too large for the PL21? The PL21 doesn't have a 5mm tip, like other IEMs I've seen, it's a bit thinner, maybe 3mm or so :?

I'll probably be using them on future IEMs, too, but if they don't fit the PL21 I don't think I will be buying them now, since it doesn't make much sense buying tips that are more expensive than the phones

Yes they do. In fact I am using them on my just arrived PL21.

As I told, the tips are going to be more expensive (well, more or less) than the phones, but I want the tips for future phones, too.

Brand new ones should fit fine. Mine won't stay on as they've been stretched by much larger nozzles over time.

The truth is that I don't know if there are any "standards" for tip size. I thought that most models had 5mm tips because tip size is not always specified. After having had some IEMs with the exact same tip size I tended to think that the tip size was standard, although I kept seeing photos of IEMs that seemed to have finer tips. I was not aware of tip size differences until my PL21, I suppose...

I'll buy the tips, probably, and I'll use them with my PL21 for the time being until I test a new pair of IEMs.
